Scott Barrett

Scott Barrett is the hottest free agent heavyweight in MMA. With an impressive 12-2 record Barrett is a force at 265. Barrett is riding high off of two straight first round TKO victories in 2011. Barrett defeated UFC veteran Mike Wessel at SportFight X ‘Middle Tennessee Mayhem’ in January and destroyed Kevin Brooks at Wild Bill’s Fight Night 35.

‘The Bear’ competed for Bellator and lost a controversial decision to Damian Grabowski in August 2010 that probably should have gone his way. Grabowski could not stop Barrett’s takedowns but still wound up winning a unanimous decision.

Before the questionable loss in Bellator Barrett was an impressive 10-1 with the only loss coming because he suffered a fluke knee injury against Chad Corvin and the ref had to stop the fight.
